TrainingThe ASCC offers laboratory-based training courses to investigators wanting to learn how to isolate, maintain, propagate, manipulate, differentiate and analyse embryonic and adult stem cells. The next human embryonic stem cell training workshop will be held March 2 - 5, 2009. This comprehensive 4 day training workshop will provide hands-on, laboratory-based training in the propagation and manipulation of human embryonic stem cell lines and mouse embryonic fibroblast feeder lines which support human embryonic stem cell growth in culture. The laboratory modules are complemented by lecture/tutorials on the basic principles of human embryonic stem cell propagation, differentiation and analysis. The accompanying brochure provides further details about the training workshops. For further information about ASCC training programs please contact Assoc Professor Ivan Bertoncello.
